Well I'm sure all those who went will agree with me when I say it was a great weekend. But when you look back on it in 5 years time I wonder, what will be your memories? A great weekend spent with friends enjoying their fellowship. That's good, but what if you could look back and say that was the weekend when you recommitted your life to Christ. Our speaker Phil asked us a question, what will be our reaction to the cross of Christ that we revisited? Will we just carry on living our lives as if nothing happened, or will we commit ourselves to serving our Lord? Whether it be in telling others of what the Lord has done for us, or supporting our fellow Christian, there is a lot of work to be done, are you ready to do it? If so then you need to come before the Lord in prayer and offer yourself to God. It may be that there will be a time of learning beforehand for we need to know God and His Word before we can serve Him using it, but I know from my own experience God is always willing to use someone who is willing to serve Him.
