In August 2003 the monthly web based magazine was launched. Replacing the former study helps and editorials, this magazine seeks to encourage young people to go on for the Lord. It's articles are written not only by me (Woody) but by others as they are led of the Lord to write.

In April 2003 we changed our name to assemblyyouth.net to reflect the increase in people coming to the site who had never been to Hill House or Tintagel

So what is this site all about?
Well the general aim is to encourage young believers in Christ to go on for the Lord.
A monthly magazine seeking to encourage young people in the things of the Lord.
Details of meetings are put up to encourage more young people to go to more meetings.
MP3's of recent ministry meetings are uploaded from time to time.
A testimony page is provided so regulars can tell others of what God has done in their lives.
And if all that wasn't enough there's a resources page with a list of sites where more information can be got.

History 2002

On Friday 5th April 2002 whilst at Tintagel the Holy Spirit brought an idea to my mind. I prayed for three nights and three mornings about it and then knowing it was God's Will put it into action. The idea was this website. A place where we could ask each other for prayer about things on our heart whether they be personal or general. A place where we could give thanks to the Lord for what he has done and thank Him for answered prayer.

However, that was only the basic idea, a page for young people's meetings was added so that we would know where and when they were. After a suggestion from another young believer the ministry meetings page was added. As news of upcoming baptisms came in a baptism page was added. A resources page to help find good Christian books was added (this has been extended in recent months). I've always found reading other people's testimonies encouraging and challenging and after prayer a page for these was also added. The Lord then placed on my heart the idea of adding some sort of Bible study helps to encourage us all to study God's Word more. As the workload seemed to be increasing I prayed for the Lord's guidance in seeking help and handed over the updating of the meetings pages to Jeff Hedges.
