what is your ambition for your life
by A. Wood

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 2 Timothy 4v7

25th June, marks the 10th anniversary of the Lord calling home Andrew Palfreyman. Andrew was a very good friend of mine, and led me to the Lord in 1996. In an autobiographical essay Andrew wrote a couple of years before he wrote that the one ambition for his live was to fulfil this verse. Andrew was just 16 when he was called home to glory, in those 16 years he had fought the good fight, he had kept the faith. During his teenage years he had struggles just as any teenager did, but he trusted in God, and God brought him through them. Andrew wasn't afraid to have the mickey taken out of him, because he was willing to live for Christ. He wasn't afraid to do the things he knew God wanted him to do, and not do the things that he knew God didn't want him to do.

I wonder what is your ambition for life?
What is your ambition for this month?
Are you fighting the good fight? Living as a Christian was never meant to be easy, we are battling against the Devil and the world that is under his power. But we have Christ on our side and "greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world" (1 John 4v4). Are you keeping the faith? When difficulties come your way do you turn to Christ for help? Trust in Him, and He will bring you through them.
