For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. Romans 8v18
When we are suffering the hardest thing to do is to look at the bigger picture. Yet this is what we need to do more often. I do not know what difficulties you are going through at the moment or what sacrifices you may have had to make for the Lord, but can I encourage you to keep going. The glories that await us in Heaven, far await any suffering we suffer down here. Paul says here they are not even worth comparing, that is, the glories are so much better, they are not in the same league. The sufferings we go through down here are but for a time, my brother my sister, even if you lived a 100 difficult years down here, you have ALL eternity with Christ to look forward to. During your difficulties try and take time out to look at the bigger picture, to know that what you are going through is only for a time, and then the Lord will come, and you will suffer no more, as He takes you to be with Him in Heaven, safe for all eternity.
