This book is a difficult one to look at, but Ill try my best to keep it simple.
Although this book is a love song written by Soloman and includes metaphors and oriental imagery, it shows a wedding of a shepherdess by King Soloman, the joys and heartaches of wedded love. Some say it is also a picture of Christ and the church, as the bride of Christ.

Love within a marriage is mentioned and for those who know it, theres something very special about God-given marriages and the love that is shared between man and woman. Spiritual life is similar, its highest fulfillment in the love of God, for His people, and Christ for his church.

Now I wander what you think of love? Is it something you think of between man and woman in marriage, or on a far bigger scale between us, God's people, and Himself. I believe this is certainly something we must never forget. The Love of God, as illustrated in a different way in Song of Soloman, is far superior to the love of man with woman. God is Love remember. His very essence is Love, and something that is very important if we are to walk close with Him in our Christian lives.
