Well where better to start than at the beginning, the beginning of the world to be exact. Let's look at a few verses that tell us about Christ in creation. In John 1v1-3 we are told that the Word, which is Christ, was with God in the beginning, and that "all things were made by Him". Christ did not come into being when He came to this Earth as a man in Bethlehem, about 2010 years ago. He has always been around, and with God the Father and God the Holy Spirit, created this Earth. If we go back to Genesis 1 then in our English Bibles we will always see the plural pronouns used speaking of God, likewise if we would find the same in the original Hebrew. This is more significant as the Hebrew has not just singular and plural for words as we do, but also dual, which means the plural always speaks of at least 3 persons, in the case of Creation, the 3 persons of the God-head. If we go on in our Bibles to Colossians 1v16 we find that not only were all things created through Him, but that all things were made for Him. We were created for God's pleasure, that He might enjoy fellowship with us. I wonder have you, have I enjoyed that fellowship with Him today?
