How many of us have sang the words to that old chorus "Dare to be a Daniel". Well over the next few months maybe even years, we are going to take a look with the help of the Holy Spirit, at Daniel and see what we can learn. But why Daniel? Well his story starts, when he was a young man, so he would be relatively the same age as many of the young people reading this. He lived much of his life in a foreign land, just as we are in a land that is foreign to Christ. Yet in Ezekiel 14v14 he is one of three men of righteousness named by the Lord. There is a lot we can learn as we look at Daniel and see how he stood for God, whether it be at the beginning, refusing the King's meat, or willing to be put in a lions den than stop praying to God. Then in the goodness of the Lord we will take a look at the prophecies that make up the latter part of the book.
